Officers are investigating an assault in Salisbury that happened earlier this week which saw a large number of teenage suspects assault a man in his 20s.
The incident happened in Queen Elizabeth Gardens and Crane Bridge Road at approximately 11pm on Monday 27th June 2022.
The man in his 20s was left with bruising to his face and ear following what is described by the police as "an assault involving a large number of suspects aged between 13 and 15 years old."
The man was repeatedly assaulted during the incident which started in Queen Elizabeth Gardens before spilling out onto Crane Bridge Road.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, "If you heard or saw anything during the time of the incident, or were driving through the area with a dashcam which may have captured relevant footage, please contact South CID by calling 101 and quote the crime reference number of 54220067017.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
