A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a baby in Salisbury.
Jamie Fulford, aged 26, of Salisbury, appeared at Winchester Crown Court yesterday (2/6) charged with murder.
On September 1, 2022, a four-week-old baby boy was admitted to Salisbury District Hospital with serious injuries, but sadly died on September 9.
Fulford pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. He is next due to appear at Salisbury Crown Court on January 11, 2027.
The baby’s mother, Sophie Egerton, aged 22, of Salisbury, appeared in court charged with causing or allowing the death or harm of a child. She was also released on bail and is due to appear in court on September 22.
