A man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a baby in Salisbury.
Jamie Fulford, 26, of Tournament Road, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court today charged with murder and causing or allowing harm/death of a child.
On September 1, 2022, a four week old baby boy was admitted to Salisbury District Hospital with serious injuries but sadly died on September 9.
He has been remanded in custody until May 12 when he will next appear at Winchester Crown Court.
The baby's mother, Sophie Egerton, 22, of Tournament Road, is charged with causing or allowing harm/death of a child. She also appeared at court today and has been released on unconditional bail to next appear at Winchester Crown Court on June 5.
