Go4Food.co.uk, a new food delivery platform founded by Salisbury native Barry James, is set to launch, promising a disruptive business model that puts restaurant profits and the local economy first.

Unlike multinational competitors, the platform will charge zero commission on vendor sales, a move designed to empower local businesses and ensure more money stays in the city.

The Go4Food.co.uk model is a "pass-through" system where restaurants receive 100% of their listed menu price. The platform's revenue comes from a simple, transparent fee structure paid by the customer, which includes a small booking fee and an 8% service charge. This structure allows the company to cover its operational costs while ensuring restaurants keep the profits they've worked for.

Deliveries are handled by a network of local professional drivers, including Salisbury-based private hire drivers, ensuring a discreet and reliable service. This commitment to local partners extends to the company's core mission: to strengthen the Salisbury economy by keeping profits within the community rather than sending them to shareholders of large corporations.

“For ten years, I was a taxi dispatcher right here in Salisbury, so I understand the importance of quality service and supporting our community," says Barry James, Founder of Go4Food.co.uk. "We're not just another tech platform; we are a local start-up with a mission. My goal is to be customer-focused and customer-oriented at all times, making sure both our restaurant partners and their customers have a fantastic experience. We’re here to help businesses add a profitable new revenue stream without sacrificing their hard-earned margins.”

The Go4Food.co.uk platform is powered by an AI dispatch system named AIDEN (A.I.DElivery.Network), partially coded by Barry James himself in conjunction with tech partners across the world, which efficiently links orders with available drivers to ensure swift and professional delivery.

The company is actively onboarding local restaurants, providing them with a free online portal to manage their menus, prices, and products with complete autonomy.
