Emergency services are dealing with a multi-vehicle collision on the A36 near Pepperbox Hill this morning.
Emergency services warn that the road is closed and to avoid the area!
The knock-on cause is traffic chaos in that part of the city, but it also affects other parts of the ring road and back roads as people try to avoid the road closure.

13:42Ambulance Service:
“We were called at 11.45hrs to a multiple-vehicle collision on the A36 in the area of Pepperbox Hill.
"We sent four double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer and a rapid response vehicle.
"We are conveying four patients to Salisbury District Hospital.”
13:01Wiltshire Police:
"We were called at around 11.35 am today (14/12) following a four-vehicle RTC on the A36 near Whiteparish.
"Fortunately, there are no serious reported injuries.
"Recovery is ongoing."
12:52Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service:
"Firefighters carried out on-scene casualty care, and all persons involved were able to exit the vehicles.
"Crews are currently still in attendance working with Police and Ambulance to help those involved and make the scene safe."
