Laverstock and Ford FC are still in the FA Cup after a battling draw away at Southern League team Bishops Cleeve.
To make the result even more impressive, Laverstock finished the game with ten men after Jordan Matthews was shown a second yellow card with less than 10 minutes of the second half played.
Laverstock, who play the Wessex Premier League, were playing their second successive FA Cup game against a team from the league above, but it was the Salisbury-based side that took the lead.
It had been a half where both sides had created chances. Lewis Gunstone-Gray had made some good saves, and Bishops Cleeve had hit the bar, but Laverstock defended well and had had their own chances, too.
Captain Adam Bourner struck right at the end of the half to give the 'Bulldogs' the lead.
In the second half, Laverstock defended well, but their task became harder when Matthews saw red after his second yellow card of the game and Bishops Cleeve pushed for the equaliser.
Laverstock held out until the 90th minute when Ethan Dunbar's cross looped up and over Gunson-Grey in the Laverstock goal.
That wasn't the end of the action, as both had chances to win the game. However, the game ended 1-1, and the two sides will meet again tomorrow evening (Tuesday, 3rd September) at the Dell in Laverstock for a replay.
