There are only a few days left to register to take part in the Stars Appeal annual sponsored Walk for Wards at Wilton House on Sunday 3rd July.
Almost 1,600 people have already registered for this year’s event and pledged to raise funds for the Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital’s Charity.
Funds raised will help towards the £1 million the Stars Appeal aims to raise this year to fund projects, services and equipment for patients and the NHS staff who care for them.
This is the first time Walk for Wards has been held in person since before the pandemic started and the Stars Appeal is delighted for the event to be back at Wilton House this year.
Lord Pembroke, President of the Stars Appeal said, “I am so excited to be able to welcome you all back to Wilton House for Walk for Wards. The Stars Appeal is so important to all the community in Salisbury and all the staff at Salisbury Hospital. And your support will make such a difference. So please come and join me and my family this year at Walk for Wards. Thank you.”
Walk for Wards is free to enter and includes a free lunch and free admission to the Wilton House grounds and adventure playground afterwards. For more information click here.
Registration closes on Tuesday (June 28th).
