Today, Wiltshire Creative launched the Salisbury Playhouse’s Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign.
This is a week-long campaign that gives them just seven days to raise £10,000 so that local children who are missing out can experience the joy of live performance.
Each pound donated between today, the 28th of November, and the 5th of December will be doubled by Big Give champions in real-time. Meaning if we donate £10,000 it will be doubled to £20,000!
The money raised will go towards helping young people in our local community who don't receive drama lessons in school, who won't get the opportunity to see a show, and whose families can't afford to join in with creative activities.
They launched the campaign at 12pm today and has already raised over £6,000.
They have until next Tuesday (5th December) at midday to hit their target.
You can donate here - https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a056900002RXrqMAAT or in person at Salisbury Playhouse before 12pm on Tuesday 5 December.
