A former operations manager in the wholesale seafood industry has taken the plunge into self-employment by taking over the oven cleaning franchise, Ovenu Salisbury.
Hubert Pelletrat, 52, originally from France, moved to the UK in his 20s after meeting his wife and has lived in the Salisbury area ever since. He’s now looking forward to serving the local community by offering a high-quality oven valeting service across Salisbury, Amesbury and surrounding towns and villages.
Previously working long hours in a demanding role, Hubert wanted to achieve a better work-life balance by becoming his own boss. He chose Ovenu for the opportunity to run his own business with the backing and brand strength of a respected national franchise.
He takes over the business from previous franchisee, Sacha Bollhalder, who is retiring due to poor health, and will serve clients across the SP1 to SP6 postcodes.
Hubert said: “Taking on Ovenu Salisbury gives me the flexibility and independence of self-employment, while knowing I have the support of a strong national organisation behind me. I’m excited to grow the business, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain the high standards people have come to expect from Ovenu in this area.”
Rik Hellewell, founder and managing director of the Ovenu franchise, said: “Hubert brings valuable experience, dedication and a clear drive to succeed. I’m confident he’ll build on the great reputation the business already enjoys and deliver an outstanding service to his clients.
“I'm sure our entire Ovenu network would like to join me in wishing Sacha a speedy and full recovery and thank him for his efforts over the years in flying the flag high and maintaining the Ovenu standards in and around Salisbury”.
