Salisbury City Council have advertised the tender opportunities for the bar and food offerings for Fayre on the Square and Christmas on the Square.
Salisbury City Council is inviting bar operators and caterers to tender for the opportunity to become the providers for their summer and winter pop-up events. The opportunity on offer will cover three years of operation, from 2025 to 2027, including the unique opportunity to be at the heart of the city’s 2027 celebrations, in which Salisbury will celebrate being 800 years old.
The tender documents show the date ranges for the events over the next three years and provide a guide to how much the City Council is expecting in return to run the food and drink operations.
For the bar operator, they are expecting a tender value of no less than £78,118, plus a £1000 + VAT administration cost.
The council are also expecting to receive over £44,398 plus the same administration fee for the food operation side.
Businesses interested in operating the bar and food offeringsfor the events have until the end of February to apply, with the council stating in the tender documents that "Price is only one of the criteria that applicants will be scored against—the highest tender value will not automatically constitute the contract being awarded."
