Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Wilton where a number of high-value watches were stolen.
The break-in happened at a property in Burcombe Lane at some time on Friday afternoon (8th October 2021).
The offender or offenders gained access by forcing entry to the back door, then carried out a search of one of the bedrooms, stealing a number of items, including five expensive watches.
As part of the enquiries, a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, as well as unrelated drugs and driving offences. He has been interviewed and released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
The police would ask anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on that afternoon, or who has seen watches for sale in suspicious circumstances, to call Salisbury CID.
Here are some images of watches similar to those stolen.
Anyone with information should call DC Eleanor Darcy on 101, quoting crime reference 54210098372. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
