Wiltshire Council has launched a survey to gather feedback from parents and carers about current and future childcare needs.
The council says it wants to better understand the types of childcare families use, the hours they need, affordability concerns and any gaps in local provision.
The findings will help the authority plan future childcare services and meet its legal duties to ensure enough high-quality childcare is available across Wiltshire.
The survey is open to all parents and carers of children living in the county, including those who do not currently use childcare.
Cabinet member for children’s services Jon Hubbard said the feedback would help shape future childcare provision and support children in getting “the best possible start in life”.
The survey closes on Friday May 29.
