This weekend (8th October 2022) there will be the opportunity to kick start your Christmas shopping at the Fall into Autumn Fayre at St Thomas's Church.
Following the great success of the pre-Covid events, the fayre is back and this year will be held in the church for the first time.
Opening from 10am-3pm there will be over 24 stalls of local arts, crafts and produce. The event will be brought to life by a continuous programme of live music from talented local musicians.
The organisers have sought to provide something for everybody, young or old
and to suit every purse. Not only will there be feasts for the eyes, ears and taste
buds but a whole variety of local crafts, arts and expertise.
Selected highlights include pottery and homeware, watercolours and artworks, cards and stationery, clothing, snazzy belts, bags and accessories, jewellery, dog gifts and other unusual presents such as baskets of fresh flowers, homemade jams and preserves and home baking.
There will also be a raffle and tombola with lots of prizes.
There will be facilities to relax and enjoy homemade goodies and refreshments at the fayre café from the St Thomas’s Catering Team.
The ‘Fall into Autumn FAYRE’ is part of St Thomas’s Church community action
programme to raise money for local causes. This year the chosen charities are The Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal, The Trussell Trust and The Salisbury Foodbank.
