Salisbury FC have announced a new signing to their squad to bolster their defensive options.
The club have paid a small, undisclosed fee to bring in central defender Tom Bragg from Eastleigh.
A product of the youth system at Southampton, he has also played in Scotland for Hibernian. He then joined the Eastleigh development programme, making his full debut in January 2022.
Brian Dutton told the club's website what he hopes Bragg will bring to the side, "Tom is a young centre-back who I feel will be a fantastic addition to our team.
"Tom is a player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and wants to progress his career back into full-time football.
"I’m delighted Tom has decided to join us when he had numerous other teams at higher levels vying for his signature. I’m sure Tom will have an excellent campaign with us this season."
The 20-year-old joins Brian Dutton's squad ahead of the season, and supporters will hope to get their first glimpse of the signing in this evening's friendly.
The visitors to the Ray Mac are Bashley, managed by former Salisbury striker Matt Tubbs.
This is the second of the 'Football for a Fiver' pre-season games; kick-off is at 7:45 pm.
The final home pre-season game is this Saturday (29th July) as The Whites host Hampton & Richmond.
Both games are £5 for all adults, with Under 18s free.
