A well-established Salisbury garage became part of a larger automotive group at the weekend.
It was announced late on Saturday night that Alltecnique, the 19-year-old independent garage at Old Sarum Airfield, has officially joined the Best Autocentres Group.
Group owners say the business will continue to trade under the Alltecnique name, retaining its experienced local team, location and full range of services.
Established in 2003, Best Autocentres is a growing network of garages across the South, following recent investment to expand its regional footprint. The Group operates from multiple locations across Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire, with a clear focus on bringing consistent standards, technology, and innovation to independent garages while maintaining their local identity and trusted reputation.
Tobyn Brooks, Director of Best Autocentres said, ‘’Customers will see the same friendly faces they know and trust.
“Our commitment is simple. Supporting the local economy, protecting local skilled jobs, and delivering honest service at fair prices.’’
Assisting the Salisbury garage, Best Autocentres say the will introduce, ‘Investment in tools and workshop technology’, ‘Online booking and service reminders’, ‘Access to a wider tyre network for faster turnaround’ and ‘Customer service guarantees on quality and transparency’.
Marc Ainslie, Chief Operating Officer at Best Autocentres, added, “Our strategy is about strengthening well run independent garages, not changing what makes them successful. Alltecnique has built a solid reputation for technical expertise and customer trust. By bringing them into the Best Autocentres Group, we’re investing in that success, giving the team more tools, support, and resources to keep delivering at the highest standard.”
Alltecnique will continue to offer MOT’s and servicing. There will be no changes to phone numbers, existing support or job cuts and existing bookings remain unaffected.
The Group are also seeking more competent Automotive Technicians to join their teams in Eastleigh and Totton, applicants are asked to send their CV to bestautocentres@gmail.com.
