A man has been disqualified from driving after being seen driving at around 90mph and almost colliding with three other vehicles.
Henry Feltham-Bray, 23, of Parsonage Road, Amesbury, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (18th January).
On August 18th last year, Feltham-Bray was seen by an off-duty police officer driving at around 90mph in a 60mph zone on the A338 towards and through the Winterbournes and illegally overtaking on solid white lines.
He also drove recklessly through a village, veering over the single-lane carriageway, almost colliding with oncoming vehicles, and almost mounting a kerb where a pedestrian was walking.
Thanks to the officer’s dash camera, Feltham-Bray was identified and summonsed to court for dangerous driving.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to 12 weeks of custody, suspended for 12 months, disqualified from driving for 12 months and required to take an extended test.
He was also required to pay a £154 victim surcharge, £85 court costs and sentenced to 20 Rehabilitation activity requirement days.
