After several weeks of build-up, the Crack the Code final arrived on Saturday, 12th November, in Salisbury's Guildhall Square.
Almost all of the Salisbury Radio team were out in force, with Craig from Breakfast playing the tunes, Ian Burrage roving with his microphone and Andy, Tracy and Karli helping people with our Crack the Code safe.
During the competition, we gave away over £2,400 of spot prizes, all kindly given by local businesses to our lucky listeners. With 43 spot prizes in total ranging from Amazon Alexa smart speakers to a private chef experience where one lucky listener was cooked a three-course meal.
150 of our listeners were invited to play Crack the Code after almost 1,000 entries were received. All were eligible to play for our huge jackpot, all thanks to All The Sevens Taxis.
On Saturday's final, in addition to the chance of someone winning £77,777, we also had more spot prizes to give away in the form of some lovely beauty products from Boots and scratch cards with a jackpot of £100,000.
Sadly, nobody entered the winning code, so there was no winner of the big £77,777; we will try again in the future!
