A Paediatric Consultant won an award chosen by members of the community at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust’s Staff Awards ceremony.
At the awards ceremony held last week. Dr. Chris Anderson won this year’s Patient Experience Award.
The award was presented to Chris at the ceremony held on 7th September. He won the award for often going above and beyond and for his ability to effortlessly coordinate with his team whilst maintaining the dignity of and respect for his patients.
This is a special award decided by nominations from patients and other members of the public for hospital staff who have made a significant impact on improving the patient experience, either for an individual patient in their work area or for the Trust.
The other staff awards are based on colleagues’ nominations or are selected by the Trust’s Chair and CEO.
Chief Executive Stacey Hunter said: “The Staff Awards are a significant event in our annual calendar and are enthusiastically embraced by our local community. They offer the opportunity to applaud our hard-working and committed people and the efforts they make in providing compassionate care for our patients.”
