Detectives investigating a serious assault that happened in Salisbury earlier this year have released a photograph of a potential witness they need to identify.
The incident happened outside the Cathedral Hotel, on Milford Street, at around 2.15am on 20th February 2022, when a man in his 20s was assaulted while walking home from a night out.
He sustained facial injuries which required treatment.
A police spokesperson said, "Last month (9th May 2022) we issued a CCTV image and subsequently identified a man we needed to speak to. Our enquiries are ongoing.
"However, we are now in a position to release the attached image of a woman who was in the area at the time, in the company of a man who may be her friend or partner and may have key information which could assist our enquiries.
"Anyone who is able to identify the woman and her partner, or has information on this case, should call CID South on 101, quoting crime reference 54220018152. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
