Salisbury FC have announced the loan signing of Karlos Gregory from AFC Bournemouth.
Gregory, 19, plays in midfield and is available for selection for tomorrow's match against Hornchurch.
Born in Southampton, Gregory began his footballing journey playing for Hythe & Dibden before joining Southampton at the age of six.
Going on to play for the Saints for six years, the midfielder lined up against sides such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and PSV, also winning a Premier League tournament.
Gregory joined the Cherries at under-13s level after leaving Southampton and has progressed through the age groups with the club.
The combative middleman is a black belt in Taekwondo alongside his exploits in football.
He helped the Cherries under-18s reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup in 2023/24, starting as the Cherries recorded a memorable 5-0 victory at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park in round four.
On bringing Karlos to the Ray Mac, Callum Hart said, "We're delighted to welcome Karlos to Salisbury. He’s a player who has been on our radar for some time, and we are really excited by this signing.
"He’s already had a loan last season at step 3, where he was excellent for Sholing, so he comes to us with experience in men’s football.
"Karlos is a very technical midfielder who is very comfortable in possession and has great energy levels to go with it; we continue to build our excellent relationship with AFC Bournemouth and thank them for allowing Karlos to showcase his talents with us."
