Amesbury Archer Primary School, part of the Magna Learning Partnership, has shared the positive findings of its most recent Ofsted monitoring inspection.
The inspection was carried out on 1st and 2nd April 2025 and confirmed the school’s progress since its last full inspection in 2021, when it was graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
The inspection team concluded that “Amesbury Archer Primary School has taken effective action to maintain the standards of the previous inspection.” It highlighted the school’s inclusive ethos, strong relationships, and the care shown for every pupil. Ofsted praised the school’s determination to prepare children well for later life, noting that “Amesbury Archer Primary School cares deeply about all their pupils.”
Headteacher David Webber commented, “This report is a testament to the dedication of our team and the hard work of our pupils. We care deeply about every child at Amesbury Archer and remain committed to ensuring all children ‘Aim High’ and thrive in a nurturing, aspirational environment.”
Ian Tucker, CEO of Magna Learning Partnership, added, “This report reflects the school’s inclusive values, strong leadership, and relentless focus on pupil wellbeing and achievement. We are proud to support Amesbury Archer as it continues to grow in strength and ambition.”
While celebrating these achievements, the school says it is committed to further improvement.
Ofsted has recommended ensuring greater consistency in how certain curriculum subjects are taught and refining support so that pupils with SEND can access learning even more easily.
