ALABARÉ Launches Recruitment Drive for Purpose-Driven Roles

South West-based homelessness charity ALABARÉ is urging job seekers to start 2026 with a career that changes lives, as demand for ethical jobs rises.

January is the busiest month for job changes, and the charity is calling on job seekers to embrace a ‘New Year, New Career’ with purpose.

According to Totaljobs, 4 million people (11% of the UK workforce) look for new roles at the start of the year, while research from Cooperatives UK shows 40% of younger workers would quit a job lacking social value.

ALABARÉ say they offer exactly that: careers that make a tangible difference by supporting over 3,200 vulnerable individuals annually across the South West and Wales, helping to break the cycle of homelessness and improve mental health.

Current vacancies include full-time, part-time, and volunteer roles spanning mental health, learning disabilities, young people, and homelessness in Wiltshire and Hampshire, as well as governance roles supporting the Board of Trustees.
