With temperatures climbing across the region and an Amber heat health alert in place until Monday, 23rd June, Alabaré is asking the local community to spare a thought for our homeless.

‘Saintly Stitchers’ embroiderers at Salisbury Cathedral have made the first stitch on their part of a significant project that will see the collaboration of twelve cathedrals across the country, including Derby, Exeter, St Paul’s, Liverpool, Durham and Lincoln.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a boy was knocked off his bike by a vehicle on London Road, Amesbury.

The heat health alerts have been raised to amber from yellow for Salisbury and the South West, as well as most of England, with temperatures continuing to rise.
