On Monday many excited people will be opening the first of their advent calendar doors and Salisbury Radio is no different.
Our radio advent calendar this year is in aid of Salisbury’s homelessness charity ALABARÉ and is with grateful thanks to Jones & Co, the kitchen, bathroom and living space experts on Castlegate Business Park – and there’s £3,000 of goodies to be won.
Each day throughout December Ian Burrage will open a door on-air and share details on our social media platforms, with a fantastic prize from an equally fantastic local business behind each door.
To have a chance of winning a weekly pack of prizes, you must buy an Advent Raffle ticket from ALABARÉ, here.
Each ticket for entry is £4 and goes to the charity which supports homeless and vulnerable in Salisbury.
Faye Tryhorn, External Affairs Manager at ALABARÉ says, “The prizes revealed each day will be bundled up and we’ll announce a raffle ticket winner at 8.40am every Friday before Christmas on Salisbury Radio and across our social media platforms. If your ticket is drawn, you have until 5pm on the Friday to claim, otherwise that week’s prizes roll over to the following week.
"Your support of the Advent Raffle will also support ALABARÉ's mission to break the cycle of homelessness - and helping some of the most vulnerable people in our community into safe, secure accommodation and a brighter future."
With £3,000 of prizes to be won, including a week’s stay for 4 people at a luxury lodge in Cornwall, this could be the most rewarding of all your advent calendars, ever!
Other prizes include M&S Vouchers, Amazon Vouchers, Pamper Hampers and smart speakers – all prizes have been donated to the cause by the great local businesses, listed below.
Click here to buy your advent raffle ticket – hear each day’s prize revealed each morning at 8.40am on Salisbury Radio and listen on Fridays to hear if your raffle number is drawn-out. (Remember you’ll only have until 5pm on Fridays to claim your prizes).
