Officers at Wiltshire Police are investigating an unprovoked assault in Salisbury and are appealing for witnesses.
At approximately 1:30 am on Sunday, October 26, a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Salisbury's New Canal whilst he was talking with two girls opposite Chick-O-Land.
Three males approached the victim, and one of these males assaulted him by punching him in the head and kicking him.
The victim sustained facial injuries and attended the hospital following the incident. He is still suffering from hearing loss as a result of the assault.
Police added, "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault who may be able to help with our enquiries.
