Rising to global attention in 2021 through viral performances that sparked the “Wellerman” phenomenon, they quickly evolved from an online moment into a fully realised live act with a dedicated international fanbase.

Since then, the group have steadily expanded their sound beyond their viral origins, blending East Coast American folk sensibilities with British musicianship and theatrical performance energy. Following 2 critically acclaimed albums, their 2026 EP “1778” marked a key step in this evolution, followed by a successful US tour that further established them as a compelling live act on both sides of the Atlantic.

Their trajectory reflects a clear shift from viral success to long term artistic development, built on storytelling, harmony led songwriting, and a growing international presence.

The group's music has racked up billions of views across social media and over 110m streams of their debut album, and led them to appearances on shows like Ant and Dec, Last Week Tonight with Jon Oliver, The Colbert Show and more.
