Throughout the centuries, from medieval to modern times, music has resounded within the Cathedral walls. Discover some of the stories behind the notes! Exhibition highlights include a medieval manuscript of plainsong once sung in the Cathedral, a rare print of this 1710 Renatus Harris organ, and a viola made in Salisbury by Benjamin Banks in 1770.

The exhibition will be held in the Cathedral Library. Please note that access is only via a 37-step stone spiral staircase.

Due to limited space in the Library, it may sometimes be necessary to queue for entrance, particularly during the weekend.
