Whiteparish All Saints' Church and Village School are delighted to announce the 2026 Whiteparish Village Summer Fete on Saturday, 20th June, from 12 noon to 4 pm at the Memorial Ground.
This year's theme, "Whiteparish: Past, Present and Future," will be opened by a local multi-generational family. The popular tug-of-war competition returns, alongside a special ceremony to bury a village time capsule in the new Memorial Garden.
A major attraction this year will be a Flypast by the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. This will feature the iconic Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota aircraft, subject to weather and aircraft serviceability on the day.
Entertainment will include the Black Cat Big Band, the all-female shanty group Catch of the Day, King John's Morris Dancers and Bishopstoke Invertebrate Encounters featuring spiders and scorpions.
Visitors can also enjoy local stalls, Pimms, teas, ice creams, a bar, BBQ, games, classic cars, tractors and an art exhibition in the church.
The Whiteparish History Society's new 32-page village trail booklet and treasure hunt will be available in the village shop before the fete for £3.
