Song for Christmas

Song for Christmas is bringing the festive season to life again on Salisbury Radio.

Think of it as your audio advent calendar with schools from Salisbury, South Wiltshire and West Hampshire signing their 'Song for Christmas', thanks to Elite Care in Salisbury.

You can hear the songs in the run-up to Christmas here on Salisbury Radio, and you can also purchase the songs to keep forever.

After airing on the radio, each song will be available to download for just £1, with proceeds donated to the Stars Appeal.

Here are the schools involved in this year's Song for Christmas, along with the date they will be broadcast.

Songs broadcast Monday - Friday will be played at 8:20 am and 4:20 pm.

Songs broadcast on a Saturday will be played at 8:20 am and 1:20 pm.

The schools are all competing for the Song for Christmas Trophy.

The winning song will be announced on Salisbury Radio on Christmas Eve.

The winning school will receive the Song for Christmas Trophy and £250 in vouchers to spend on musical instruments for their school.
