Salisbury FC have announced that they have agreed to extend the loan of goalkeeper David Aziaya.
Aziaya, 20, is at the club on loan from EFL League 2 side Bromley and has made three starts for Salisbury since joining on loan.
The young ‘keeper impressed in his debut against Slough and kept the shirt for the matches against Truro City and Hampton & Richmond.
The agreement allows Aziaya to play in Salisbury’s FA Cup campaign.
Brian Dutton was delighted to be able to keep the tall stopper at the club. He said, “I’m really pleased to extend Dave’s loan. He’s been excellent since joining the group. We thank Bromley for their help.”
The extension of the Aziaya means that Ryan Gosney will also leave the club on loan and join Gosport Borough.
Gosney joined the club at the end of last season and played a big part in the club’s promotion to the Vanarama National League South.
Talking on Gosney and his loan move away, he said, “Gos heads out on loan to Gosport so he can continue getting game time and increase his match sharpness.”
