A woman in her 20s is in a life-threatening condition following a multi-vehicle collision on the A303 near Amesbury.
The collision, which involved five vehicles, occurred on the eastbound carriageway of the dual carriageway where the lanes merge towards Winterbourne Stoke, just before 2pm today (2nd November).
Police said in a statement, "Two other people, including a child passenger, sustained minor injuries.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 218.
