Did you witness anyone behaving suspiciously in Larkhill late on Saturday evening (27th June)?
Officers from Wiltshire Police are investigating a report of a serious assault in Larkhill, which took place at around 11.25 pm in the Packway between the garrison church and the Packhorse pub.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking home when she was followed and then assaulted by a suspect, described as white and in his 30s.
She managed to escape from him and flag down a member of the public, who took her home and incident was then reported to the police.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in custody for questioning.
