Wiltshire Council is launching a new community lottery to help raise funds for local good causes across Wiltshire.
The Wiltshire Community Lottery will allow players to support a chosen charity or group, with 50p from every £1 ticket going directly to good causes.
The scheme is being delivered in partnership with Gatherwell, which already runs similar initiatives across the UK.
Tickets will go on sale later this spring, with weekly draws offering prizes of up to £25,000.
Council leaders say the initiative will provide much-needed funding for charities, community groups and local organisations facing rising costs.
