Wiltshire Creative is inviting us to their Spring Season Welcome Morning to be held at Salisbury Playhouse on Saturday, 27th January.
Doors are open from 10 am until 1 pm with a fun schedule, including face painting for kids and prizes to be won.
This free event returns to Salisbury Playhouse to welcome back the local community and mark the beginning of their new spring season.
This event includes activities for children, an exclusive look into programming for the new season and offers an opportunity for the community to come together.
Doors will open at 9:30 am to allow guests to find their seats in the auditorium for the bookable talk.
Highlights of the day will include:
Free scratch cards for the first 100 people through the doors with great prizes to be won. Free face painting for all ages and a puppet-making workshop for children. Behind-the-scenes talks, including a tour of the Playhouse workshop where the set designs are brought to life, the history of Alan Ayckbourn plays, which have been produced at the theatre to celebrate the in-house production of A Chorus of Disapproval and a first look at the set design for One Last Push. Broadchurch writer Chris Chibnall will join Artist Director Gareth Machin to talk about his new comedy, One Last Push.At the Welcoming Morning, Wiltshire Creative will be exclusively announcing details about the 2024 Salisbury International Arts Festival.
Aside from the confirmed dates, 26th May – 9th June 2024, they will also share information on events taking place in Salisbury during the festival.
