Yesterday (11th September 2022), the police found an abandoned holding two containers of cooking oil.
Now, Wiltshire Police are looking to trace businesses that may have cooking oil recently stolen.
The vehicle was found with a blown tyre in the Old Sarum Airfield industrial estate near Salisbury.
The vehicle contained a sizeable amount of cooking oil that the police believe was stolen – however, they don’t know who the victims are.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said, "We are looking for businesses that have had their oil stolen or someone who may have seen a white Vauxhall Combo van with a blue strip running along the bottom of the vehicle in suspicious circumstances.
