Salisbury FC get 2024 underway by welcoming Tiverton Town to the Ray Mac for their first game of the year.
The Whites have been stuttering of late, winning only one of their last six and drawing their last two games. They, however, are still second in the table, four points behind leaders Chesham United, with a game in hand.
Salisbury's last game, away at Basingstoke Town, ended in a stalemate. Both sides struggled with strong wind and heavy rain at times in the game, though Sido Jombati missed a penalty in the first half, and the game ended goalless.
Tiverton's form is not great either; having only won once in the last six games, they have drawn their last three.
Last time out on Boxing Day, they drew 1-1 away at Plymouth Parkway, their new year fixture against Dorchester Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Tiverton are currently 16th in the table, having only won five of their 22 games this season.
Tickets are available for the game, which kicks off on Saturday (6th January) at 3 pm, on the Salisbury FC website - https://salisburyfc.co.uk/tickets/
