Salisbury City Council has announced that the Community Activity Leaders are taking sports on tour for the tenth time this August.
The council said, "Continuing with our commitment to make sport accessible for all, we will be running FREE multi-sport sessions at 3 locations around the city for kids aged 7-14."
The sessions, at Bemerton, Churchill Gardens and Harnham, will run from 1-4pm and enable participants to experience a range of sports including football, hockey, basketball, cricket, tchoukball and more. There's no need to book, just turn up and play.
"It is important to us that this fun opportunity to socialise and try new things welcomes as many young people as possible. So get in touch with us if you have any access needs and we are happy to talk about how you can take part," added Salisbury City Council.
If you’d like any further information, please contact the Community Activity Leaders at the Bemerton Heath Centre on 01722 417100, or alternatively email bhc@salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk
(Please note: each participant will need to complete a consent form with emergency contact details. Session length is subject to change and weather dependent. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first serve basis).
