The City Council is flying the flag of Ukraine on Salisbury’s Guildhall as a token of support to Ukraine and its people.
Cllr Caroline Corbin, the Mayor of the City of Salisbury said, “Like many, I am appalled by these horrific events and we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. We support Ukraine as a sovereign, self-governing state.
"I hope that the situation will be peacefully resolved soon and our thoughts are with all those affected by the conflict.”
