A teenager has been arrested in connection with a suspicious device that was found outside Salisbury Law Courts on 3rd August 2022.
The 17-year-old, from Salisbury, has been arrested on suspicion of placing an item with the intent to induce belief it may explode or ignite.
He has also been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage in relation to graffiti on the outside of the building.
The incident at Salisbury Law Courts caused the closure of Wilton Road for several hours on Wednesday the 3rd August.
Sources close to the scene claimed that there was a metal tin device attached to the doors of the Salisbury Law Courts.
The suspicious item caused the police to put a cordon in place and invite specially trained personnel to the scene.
Later that morning, the incident was resolved, the road was reopened and the package was declared "not a viable device."
The teenager who has been arrested has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
