Temperatures around Salisbury and our local area are due to drop below zero in the coming days.
Weather forecasters are predicting temperatures as low as -5 Celcius overnight as we head toward the weekend. Temperatures will also struggle to get above zero during the day with highs of only 2 or 3 over the weekend.
There is also the chance of light snow in the early part of next week as we are urged to use our heating despite energy costs being high.
The weather coming towards the whole of the UK at the moment is coming from the north and is cold arctic air, the colder weather is set to last for just over a week.
For those struggling with heating costs or worried about staying warm, there are lots of local venues and organisations providing 'warm spaces' this winter.
