Services across South Western and Great Western Railway networks have been suspended.
Customers are being advised by South Western Railway not to travel as services across the network are cancelled due to “a large number of fallen trees blocking lines across the route."
A Tweet from Network Rail Wessex said, "Services are suspended. This is so we can keep our passengers and staff safe while we respond to all outstanding incidents. We will keep you updated."
Great Western Railway has announced that due to a worsening of conditions they are now unable to run trains across the majority of their network.
Customers are advised to check their journey here and apply for a refund here.
