Local community group Sounds Better CIC will be singing at the 20th Walk for Wards at Wilton House on 6th July.
The combined Sounds Better CIC choir comprises several local groups:
Salisbury Breathless Singers is a local Singing for Lung Health group, for those living with lung conditions, which meets on a Tuesday in Wilton
Salisbury Singing for Parkinson’s meets on the first and third Monday of each month at St Francis Church
Mere Harmony for Health is also for those living with lung conditions; they meet on Thursdays in Mere
The groups will come together to welcome back the first walkers to make it around the course
Liv McLennan, Director of Sounds Better CIC, says: “We are very excited and proud to support this fantastic local charity. We’re especially proud that some members of our Salisbury Breathless Singers will be raising money by participating in the event; we’re hoping they will be able to finish in time to sing with us!”
The performers from Sounds Better CIC aren't alone in performing at Walk for Wards; there will also be music from Salisbury City Band of the Royal British Legion, Sock Puppet Jukebox, Wyndham St Mark's School Choir, Lucas Hardy, Wilton Band, and Tom Clements from Tom & the Clementynes.
