Local community group Sounds Better CIC is delighted to announce they have been shortlisted for Community Group of the Year in the Wiltshire Life Awards.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 8th March, at the Corn Exchange, Devizes.
Sounds Better CIC runs the Salisbury Breathless Singers group for those living with lung conditions, which meets on a Tuesday afternoon in Wilton as well as providing the option to join online
Liv McLennan, Director of Sounds Better CIC, says: “I’m so pleased we have been shortlisted for this award; our group has been running for several years now and I’m proud of the progress our group members have made.
"It’s great to be recognised for this. There are so many brilliant community groups in Wiltshire so with so much tough competition it means even more to have been shortlisted!”
Sounds Better CIC also runs 6-week introductory courses in partnership with Salisbury’s Parish Nurse at various venues around Salisbury and simultaneously online via Zoom.
