Last weekend, The Music Baa transformed its idyllic Dreamacres Campsite into a buzzing haven of folk, fun, and community spirit as Grass Roots Grazin’ 2025 welcomed a full house of music lovers.
With the event reaching full capacity, the boutique festival proved once again that grassroots music is 'alive and bleating' here in Salisbury.
Set just outside Combe Bissett - with beautiful views across Cranborne Chase and beyond, the three-day celebration featured an eclectic lineup - including Ferocious Dog, Mad Dog Mcrea, Mr Tea and The Minions, and many more. From foot-stomping sets to mellow acoustic moments, the atmosphere was electric—and unmistakably Music Baa.
Festival-goers soaked up the sunshine, savoured locally sourced food from the brand new kitchen, drinks from the well-stocked bar, and danced and camped under the stars in what many described as “the most magical weekend of the summer.”
The Music Baa’s signature blend of laid-back charm, incredible family-friendly vibes and top-tier talent made for an unforgettable experience.
Organisers said: “We’re absolutely thrilled by the response to Grass Roots Grazin’. Seeing the field full of smiling faces, dancing feet, and happy campers was everything we hoped for. The Music Baa is all about connection—through music, nature, and good vibes—and this weekend delivered in spades. Thank you so much to all our amazing performers and to everyone who attended. We can’t wait to do it all again in a few weeks!”
With upcoming events like Hillbilly Hootenanny (25-27th July) and Flocksteady Bleats (August Bank Holiday weekend) already generating buzz, The Music Baa continues to cement its place as one of the region’s most beloved live music destinations.
Our next event, Hillbilly Hootenanny takes place on Friday 25th - Sunday 27th July 2025.
