Salisbury FC have announced the signing of young goalkeeper Zac Beard.
The stopper, who was previously on the books at Chippenham Town, alongside Salisbury's other summer goalkeeper signing, Will Henry.
Also a coach, Beard (20) spent time on loan at Wincanton Town last season on dual registration.
It is expected that Beard has been brought in as cover for Henry - he is also a goalkeeping coach, experienced with working with youth players at Chippenham Town.
Beard appeared on the bench yesterday evening's (14th July) pre-season friendly against a Stoke City XI, a game which Salisbury won 2-1. Salisbury's goals were scored by Jaiden Bartolo and Nathan Odokonyero.
