Children from across the area will compete in the Salisbury Schools' Mini Marathon in Laverstock this weekend.
The annual event returns for 2023 with hundreds of local children and parents participating in the run on the fields and hills of the Laverstock Downs.
Parking restrictions are in place for the event; Church Road will be coned to prevent parking outside the schools to reduce traffic problems.
Laverstock Sports and Social Club are opening their fields and car part to parents and other people attending the event. There is a £2 cash charge for parking, with the money going to the sports teams run from the club.
The event runs from 9 am until midday, with various races taking place across different age groups.
