Salisbury Radio to host gala quiz with Salisbury Hospice

Salisbury Radio will host this year's Gala Quiz to help raise much-needed money for Salisbury Hospice Charity.

The quiz, which used to be organised by Sarum Rotary, is now fully under the control of Salisbury Hospice Charity and takes place later this month on September 22nd.

In previous years, the quiz has helped raise thousands of pounds for the hospice and this year, it is expected to do the same.

Trethowans Solicitors sponsor the quiz and will welcome teams of six to take on the questions to see who come out on top.

Salisbury Radio's Andy Munns will be the quiz master. Rounds will include a Salisbury Radio-themed music round and firm favourites, including Food & Drink, TV & Film, Sport and General Knowledge.

The event will take place at Salisbury Arts Centre on Friday 22nd September 2023.

Last year, the Sarum Rotary Corporate Charity Quiz raised £7,300, most of which was donated to Salisbury Hospice Charity.

Local businesses are invited to enter a team of 6 people for the price of £140.

This price includes a fish & chip supper (vegan, gluten-free options also available).

During the evening, there will be an auction with some stunning items available to bid on and a raffle with some amazing prizes to get your hands on.

This is also the opportunity for businesses the chance to sponsor a quiz question round. This cost is £100 per round, and your name/brand will be seen in multiple places throughout the event.
