A packed Brown Street watched on as the best of Salisbury's music scene were awarded the Salisbury Music Award gongs this weekend.
Carsick were big winners on the night, picking up Best Live Act and Best Band at the awards ceremony, with the Lead Singer prize going to their frontman Joe Richardson and brother Jack Richardson winning Best Guitarist.
Solar Bird picked up the best covers band prize, seeing off competition from The Deloreans and The Zucchinis, whilst their bassist, Nick Gowman, picked up Best Bassist.
Popular local DJ Disco Dion won Best DJ, Helen Russell won Best Keys and Tom Stokes was Best Brass player.
Carsick did, however, miss out on Best Young Band. Signature Vision picked up the prize sponsored by the Rose Gale Trust.
The Outstanding Contribution to the Community award went to Brian Mundy, and there was a Life Time Contribution award that went to Tich Amey of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich fame.
