Salisbury Live returns to Victoria Park for a music-filled event 'Right Here, Right Now!'
The music event takes place on Saturday, August 16th, with gates opening at 2:30 pm in aid of local youth charity, The Rose Gale Trust/Thom Belk Community Fund.
Featuring nine acts over 2 stages, it's a family-friendly event that boasts a fantastic line-up of local and national acts, including as main support Europe's premier Stone Roses tribute, The Absolute Stone Roses, and headlined by top Fat Boy Slim tribute (and good mate of Norm Cooks!) Fatboy Tim, who will be closing the day with all the Fatboy Slim classics and a proper dance party vibe.
The lineup also includes some of our most popular local acts, including Thin Lizzy tribute band, Southbound.
Organisers say, "We are also delighted to be featuring a host of original acts such as emerging singer/songwriter sensation, Rob Clamp, along with local heroes Carrellian, Signature Vision, Love is Enough and InColour.
"The music gets underway with Salisbury's very own, Evolution Pop Choir. In addition, there will be two reasonably priced licensed bars, delicious hot food offering fish & chips, burgers/bbq, pizza, kebabs, confectionery and tea/coffee."
There’s also plenty to keep the young ones occupied.
Tickets are available from Skiddle.com with under 12s free.
Organisers added that "Victoria Park is a short 15-minute walk from the city centre, so please use the central car park. There is a regular bus service via Victoria Park, including the Beehive park and ride service."
