Salisbury Hospice Charity is once again running its popular Christmas tree collection scheme in collaboration with Just Helping.
In return for a donation, your Christmas tree will be collected and recycled by a team of dedicated volunteers.
The collection helps local charities and the environment, as trees are chipped and recycled as animal bedding or turned into compost.
Unlike other collections, 90% of the money raised (after costs) from this collection will go to Salisbury Hospice Charity and 10% of will go to local charity Serve On, a humanitarian response charity whose dedicated volunteers help communities in their hour of need.
The collection runs between the 8th and 10th of January and has expanded this year. Salisbury Hospice Charity will be collecting from postcodes SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP6, SP7 and SP9.
To have your tree collected and recycled after the festive season, register it at www.charityxmastreecollection.com or call 01722 416353, by 4th January 2022.
This year’s collection is proudly sponsored by Boatwrights.
